Study in Australia.

Two intakes a year, strong universities in every state and a visa route that asks for a genuine-student statement. This guide is what our counsellors tell students first, with the date we checked each fact.

Your timeline for a Feb 2027 start

Counted back from the intake. Change the start and the months move. Universities set their own deadlines; the months here are the usual ones, not a promise.

  1. 1. Choose the course and shortlist

Three to five universities that fit your profile and budget. Entry requirements and English level checked against each course page.

Start with a free profile review
  2. 2. Apply

Applications prepared with your counsellor: statement, references, transcripts, English test.

  3. 3. Offer and deposit

The university decides. If it is conditional, we plan how to meet the conditions. Deposits are set by the university.

  4. 4. CoE and visa

The university issues your Confirmation of Enrolment; you apply for the Student visa with it and health cover arranged. The Department of Home Affairs decides.

  5. 5. Pre-departure

Accommodation, flights, money, a briefing for you and your family.

  6. 6. Arrive and register

Someone to call when you land. Registration, bank account, local SIM, the first week.

The Student visa (subclass 500), step by step

The Student visa (subclass 500) is the route for a full-time registered course. You apply after enrolment is confirmed, with health cover in place.

This page is general information, checked on [DATE]. Decisions are made by the Department of Home Affairs. Immigration advice is given by regulated advisers; we point you to one when you need it.

Questions students from Bangladesh ask us

Can my family come with me?

Family members can usually be included as dependants on the student visa, with their own conditions and costs. Check the official rule; it changes.

Can I work while I study?

Usually allowed part-time in term time. The exact hours and the kinds of work allowed are set by the Department of Home Affairs; check the official rule before you count on the income.

What English score do I need?

Each course sets its own. Your counsellor checks the course page with you and tells you which tests the university and the authority accept.

What if my visa is refused?

We look at the refusal reasons with you and, where the rules allow, help you reapply. We never promise an outcome, because the decision is not ours.
